Product Description
Lock down tricky metals with 2K Metal, Aluminium and Galvanised Etch Primer, a two part primer that bites chemically and builds a dependable base. Mixed with its hardener, it forms a thin, adhesive film that grips aluminium, galvanised and zinc coated steel, stainless steel, and mild steel when prepared correctly. The coat dries quickly, helps resist underfilm corrosion, and promotes a clean, even lay for subsequent primers and topcoats.
Degrease thoroughly, remove oxide and mill scale, lightly abrade where suitable, then apply light coats with short flash times. Do not flood edges, keep the film thin for best adhesion and conductivity on galvanised parts. Overcoat with a compatible high build primer for levelling, or go straight to colour on small repairs once fully dry.
