One Stop Aerosols – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply when you access our website, place an order with One Stop Aerosols, or use our services.

Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our website or place an order.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on our website.

1. About Us

This website is owned and operated by One Stop Aerosols.

All content on this website, including its design, text, graphics, logos, software and the selection and arrangement of content, is owned by or licensed to One Stop Aerosols or the relevant copyright, content or technology provider. All rights are reserved.

You may use our website for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from website content without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.

2. Age Restrictions

It is a criminal offence in the UK to sell aerosol paint to anyone under the age of 18.

By purchasing aerosol paint from our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are not purchasing aerosol paint on behalf of anyone under the age of 18.

We reserve the right to cancel an order where we have reasonable grounds to believe that applicable age restrictions have not been met.

3. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.

Paint mixed to your chosen colour, paint code, finish or other specification is made specifically for your order. Please carefully check all details, including colour codes and gloss levels, before completing your purchase.

Once production of a custom-mixed product has started, the order cannot normally be changed or cancelled, subject always to your statutory rights.

If you notice an error immediately after ordering, please contact us as soon as possible. If production has not started, we will try to assist.

Orders placed after 1:00 pm are typically mixed the same day and dispatched on the following working day. This is an estimate and is not guaranteed.

Orders placed on a UK bank holiday will normally be processed when our staff return on the next working day.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP). VAT will be included or excluded as stated on our website and at checkout.

Payment must be made in full using an approved payment method that you are authorised to use.

Goods will not be released until all sums due to One Stop Aerosols in connection with the relevant order have been paid in full.

We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate. If we identify an obvious pricing error before dispatch, we reserve the right to correct it and, where appropriate, contact you before proceeding with the order.

If we cannot accept an order, any payment taken for goods that will not be supplied will be refunded.

5. Product Availability

Our colours and products are generally available. However, availability cannot always be guaranteed.

If an item becomes unavailable while we are preparing your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to discuss the available options. These may include an alternative product, placing the item on backorder, or providing an appropriate refund.

6. Colour Matching

Vehicle Paint Colours

Vehicle paint shades can vary according to the vehicle, manufacturer, model year, original paint formulation, ageing and paint code.

Customers are responsible for confirming the correct paint code before ordering. We strongly recommend confirming the exact colour code with the vehicle manufacturer.

A matching paint code does not necessarily guarantee an invisible colour match against existing or aged paintwork. Customers should test the colour for suitability before carrying out the full application.

Pantone Colours

One Stop Aerosols can supply colours based on the Pantone colour system. However, physical Pantone guides can vary.

Pantone+ books are printed using ink on paper, and their appearance can change due to age, wear, friction, storage conditions and exposure to light. Our own reference books show visible differences between editions and individual books, and your reference guide may therefore differ from ours.

For this reason, our standard Pantone matching service aims to reproduce the colour as closely as reasonably possible against the reference available to us, but an exact match against every Pantone book, printed sample, screen representation or third-party reference cannot be guaranteed.

If you believe the supplied colour is significantly different from the reference used by us, please contact us before returning the goods. We may require the relevant goods to be returned to us for inspection and testing and will provide appropriate return instructions where necessary.

Where we determine that the product is faulty or has been mixed incorrectly, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights.

Where an exact or highly specific colour is critical to your project, we recommend sending us a physical sample so that we can provide a custom colour-matching service.

RAL Metallics / Steel-Effect Finishes

Our RAL Metallic range is designed to provide a refined steel-effect appearance suitable for prepared surfaces, including applications intended to resemble brushed steel panels.

The formulation does not contain metallic flakes. The visual effect is produced through the colour and sheen of the coating.

7. Checking Colour Before Application

Paint colours should always be checked for suitability before full application.

We strongly recommend carrying out a test application before applying paint to the final item or surface.

Where multiple cans of the same colour have been ordered, check the colour before using multiple cans.

If you believe a colour has been supplied incorrectly, please contact us promptly and provide your order details and information about the issue.

Where appropriate, we may ask for the products to be returned to us so that we can inspect and test them. Please contact us before returning aerosol products so that appropriate return instructions can be provided.

If we establish that we have supplied or mixed the product incorrectly, we will provide the remedy to which you are entitled.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights in relation to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

8. Luminous Colours

For best coverage and colour intensity, we recommend using a white primer beneath luminous colours.

Luminous shades are naturally more transparent than conventional colours. Applying them over a suitable white base can improve brightness and may reduce the number of topcoats required.

9. Delivery

We use DHL and other appropriate carriers where necessary to deliver orders.

Most orders are expected to arrive within 1–3 working days, and many arrive on the next working day after dispatch. Occasionally, delivery may take longer.

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we have expressly agreed otherwise. Delays can occur for reasons outside our reasonable control, so customers with time-critical projects should allow sufficient time when ordering.

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us so that we can investigate.

Premium Delivery Services

Where available, DHL pre-12 next-working-day delivery can be requested for an additional charge, currently from £29.99, subject to confirmation when ordering.

Saturday delivery may also be available on request, currently from £50.00 plus VAT, subject to confirmation.

Premium delivery services remain subject to the carrier’s applicable service terms. Where a carrier does not provide a delivery-time guarantee or compensation for a particular service or shipment, we cannot promise that compensation will be available solely because a delivery arrives later than the requested time.

Nothing in this section affects any rights you may have under applicable law.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges may vary for certain parts of Scotland, remote locations and destinations outside our standard UK delivery area.

Where a special delivery quotation is required, please contact us before ordering.

10. Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address entered at checkout is complete and accurate.

We will arrange delivery to the address provided when the order is placed.

If you request a change of delivery address directly with the carrier after dispatch, this may affect our ability to track, recover or resolve issues with the parcel. You are responsible for ensuring that any revised delivery instructions you provide to the carrier are accurate and appropriate.

Nothing in this section excludes or restricts responsibility that legally remains with One Stop Aerosols under applicable consumer law.

11. Missed Deliveries

Customers should make reasonable arrangements to receive their delivery.

Where available, you may be able to nominate a neighbour or rearrange delivery directly with DHL using the tracking information supplied.

If the carrier makes unsuccessful delivery attempts and the parcel is returned to us, additional delivery charges may apply if you ask us to send the order again.

We will inform you of any applicable re-delivery charge before the parcel is resent.

12. Risk During Delivery

For consumer purchases, responsibility for the goods will pass to you when the goods are delivered into your physical possession, or into the possession of a person you have identified to receive them, subject to applicable law.

Different rules may apply where you independently arrange a carrier that was not offered by us.

13. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Goods

Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If goods arrive damaged, defective, incorrectly supplied or with a significant colour issue, please contact us promptly. Providing your order or invoice number, photographs and a description of the problem will help us investigate the matter quickly.

Where necessary, we may ask for the goods to be returned to our workshop for inspection.

If the goods are found to be faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise not in conformity with the contract, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

We may ask you to retain the original packaging and provide clear photographs where this is reasonably required to investigate damage in transit.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.

14. Returning Aerosols

Aerosols are subject to transport restrictions.

Do not return aerosol products through Royal Mail where Royal Mail’s applicable rules prohibit the relevant product from being carried.

Please contact us before returning aerosol products so that we can provide appropriate return instructions.

Customers are responsible for following all applicable carrier requirements and regulations relating to the transportation of aerosols.

15. Non-Paint Products and Change-of-Mind Returns

Where you are purchasing as a consumer, your legal cancellation and return rights apply where applicable.

Eligible non-paint goods may be returned in accordance with those rights and our returns procedure.

Returned products should be kept in their original packaging where reasonably possible and should not be handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Certain products may be excluded from cancellation rights where an exemption provided by law applies.

Any refund, deduction or return charge will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.

16. Custom-Mixed, Bespoke and Made-to-Order Paint

Paint mixed, prepared or manufactured specifically to a customer’s chosen colour, paint code, RAL colour, Pantone colour, finish, gloss level, formulation, sample or other individual specification is bespoke and made to order.

Where goods are made to the customer’s specification or are clearly personalised, the statutory right to cancel an online or distance order because the customer has changed their mind may not apply.

Custom-mixed, bespoke and made-to-order paint cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded simply because the customer has changed their mind, ordered the wrong colour or paint code, selected the wrong finish or gloss level, ordered too much product, no longer requires the product, or decides that the colour is unsuitable, provided that we have supplied the product in accordance with the specification ordered.

Customers are responsible for checking all colour codes, colour references, finishes, gloss levels, quantities and other specifications carefully before placing an order.

Once mixing or production has started, custom-mixed, bespoke or made-to-order products cannot normally be changed or cancelled.

If you contact us immediately after placing an order and production has not yet started, we may, at our discretion, agree to amend or cancel the order.

This section does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, incorrectly mixed, incorrectly supplied, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

17. Refunds, Credit Notes and Goodwill Returns

Where One Stop Aerosols agrees, at its discretion, to accept a return, cancellation or other adjustment in circumstances where the customer does not have a statutory right to a refund, any amount offered may be provided by way of a credit note or account credit for use against future purchases.

Any such credit note, account credit, exchange or discretionary refund is a goodwill arrangement and does not create an ongoing right to return bespoke, custom-mixed or made-to-order products.

Where a customer is legally entitled to a monetary refund under applicable consumer law, the refund will be provided in accordance with those legal requirements. Where required by law, this will be made using the original method of payment unless the customer expressly agrees to another method, including a credit note.

Nothing in this section limits or affects a consumer’s statutory rights.

18. Bulk Colour Orders

If you order multiple cans of the same colour and believe the colour supplied is incorrect, please stop using the products and contact us promptly.

We may ask you to return the relevant order so that we can inspect and test the colour. Please contact us before returning aerosol products so that appropriate return instructions can be provided.

Customers should test the colour before using multiple cans or carrying out full application.

Where we establish that the paint has been incorrectly supplied or mixed, we will provide the remedy required by law.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected fraudulent claims and, where appropriate, report suspected criminal activity to the relevant authorities.

19. Reporting Delivery Issues

Please report non-receipt, shortages, transit damage or other delivery issues as soon as reasonably possible.

You can contact us by email at info@onestopaerosols.co.uk.

Please provide your order number and, where relevant, clear photographs of the goods and packaging.

Prompt notification helps us investigate matters with the carrier. Any requested reporting timeframe does not remove statutory rights that cannot legally be restricted.

20. Storage and Safety

Aerosols must be stored and used safely and in accordance with the instructions and warnings shown on the product and any applicable safety data.

Store aerosols in a cool, dry and appropriately ventilated location, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, heat and sources of ignition.

Where appropriate for the particular product, normal room-temperature storage of approximately 18°C–21°C is recommended.

Do not expose aerosol containers to extreme cold or freezing conditions. Always store containers upright where instructed and keep all products out of the reach of children.

Always follow the safety information, manufacturer’s instructions and relevant technical or safety data sheets supplied with or applicable to the product.

21. Product Use

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their intended application and are used in accordance with the instructions, warnings, technical information and safety data applicable to the product.

Where colour, finish or compatibility is important, we recommend carrying out an appropriate test before full application.

22. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, we do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to applicable law, One Stop Aerosols will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

If you purchase products wholly or mainly for business purposes, additional limitations of liability may apply under the relevant contract and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms affects the statutory rights of consumers.

23. Marketing Communications

Where permitted by applicable data protection and electronic marketing law, we may send customers information about One Stop Aerosols products, services and offers.

26. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce any statutory rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Consumers may have rights under legislation including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, where applicable.

27. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also have the benefit of mandatory legal protections applicable in the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.

The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights consumers have to bring proceedings in another competent UK court.
