Please read these terms carefully before using the site or purchasing products. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order. Your continued use confirms your acceptance.
Key terms from our policy
- RAL Metallics provides a refined steel-effect finish, ideal for achieving the appearance of brushed steel panels on prepared surfaces. The formulation contains no metallic flakes, the effect is created by the colour and sheen of the coating.
- Car paint shades can vary by vehicle, model year, and paint code. One Stop Aerosols cannot accept responsibility for an incorrect shade. Please confirm the exact colour code with the vehicle manufacturer before placing your order.
- Pantone colour matching
One Stop Aerosols offers colours based on the Pantone system, however print guides can vary. Pantone+ books are printed on paper with ink that ages over time, friction and light can cause noticeable shifts. We hold three Pantone books and there are visible differences between them, your guide may also differ.
For this reason, Pantone matches are supplied to within approximately 80% of the reference in our books. We cannot accept responsibility for variance against other samples, print runs, or third-party Pantone guides. If, in the unlikely event, a One Stop Aerosols Pantone colour is significantly different from the reference we used, please return the goods for testing and, where appropriate, replacement.
If your project depends on a precise shade, please post a physical sample and we will provide a custom colour match.
- Delivery time
Most orders arrive within 1 to 3 working days, many are delivered the next working day. In some cases, delivery may take up to 7 working days. We will notify you if an item falls outside these timeframes.
- We ship with DHL, reliable tracked delivery across the UK.
- Bulk order colour policy
If you order multiple cans of the same colour and believe the shade is incorrect, please contact us and return the entire order within 48 hours of delivery. We will test the colour on receipt. If we are at fault, we will provide a full replacement.
If more than one can has been used, we can reimburse all unopened cans and one used can only. Please check colour suitability before full application, One Stop cannot accept responsibility once the product has been applied to your item.
We investigate all returns thoroughly, attempted fraud will be reported and may be prosecuted.
- It is a criminal offence to sell aerosol paint to anyone under 16. By purchasing from this website with a credit or debit card, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, and that you are not buying on behalf of anyone under 18.
- The price of goods is as listed on our website at the time you place your order. All prices are shown in UK Pounds Sterling and must be paid in full. Pricing errors may be corrected prior to dispatch.
- If DHL attempts delivery twice and no one is available, the parcel will be returned to us for re-dispatch. It is the buyer’s responsibility to be available to receive delivery, you may nominate a neighbour if you will be away. You can rearrange delivery directly with DHL at any time, please use the tracking details provided. If the parcel is returned to us after missed attempts, re-sending will incur the original postage and packing charge.
- Delivery will be made to the address you provide at checkout. We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours of receipt, however delivery within 24 hours is not guaranteed. Delays can occur due to factors outside our control, for time-critical projects please order in advance to avoid disappointment.
Risk and responsibility
Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery to the specified address. Please ensure someone is available to receive the parcel.
Delivery charges
Delivery costs may vary for parts of Scotland and for destinations outside the UK. Please contact our office for a quotation before ordering.
Timeframes
We do not guarantee delivery times. Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery. If your order has not arrived after 5 working days, and we have not contacted you, please get in touch so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
- Damaged, defective, or colour-discrepant goods
If your items arrive damaged, defective, or with a significant colour discrepancy, tell us within 48 hours of delivery. Include your invoice number and a brief description of the issue. If we are not notified within 48 hours, the goods will be deemed accepted.
We will arrange a replacement where available.
If a replacement is not available, we will refund the value of the returned products to the original payment method.
All damaged or defective goods must be returned to our workshop for inspection before any refund is issued.
Returns must not be sent via Royal Mail, they are not authorised to carry aerosols. Please use an approved carrier as advised by us.
Keep all packaging and take clear photos of the damage, this helps us process your claim quickly.
- Except for your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, as amended, and except for any express guarantees we provide, we will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage. This includes, without limitation, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or any other costs, expenses, or claims for compensation, whether arising in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, and whether in connection with the supply of the goods or their use by you. Nothing in this clause limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
- Paint is mixed to your specification, orders are charged at checkout and cannot be changed once production begins. Orders placed after 1 pm are typically mixed the same day and dispatched the following working day. Please double check the paint code and gloss level before confirming your order. If you spot an error immediately after checkout, contact us straight away, we will help if the batch has not yet been mixed.
- For best coverage, use a white primer under all luminous colours. These shades are naturally transparent, a white base helps the colour appear brighter and reduces the number of topcoats needed.
- Goods will not be released until all sums owed to One Stop Aerosols, on this or any other account, have been paid in full.
- Orders placed on a UK bank holiday will be processed and dispatched on the next working day when staff return.
- Non-paint products
You may return eligible non-paint items within 7 days of receipt for a full refund, less postage and packaging (P&P).
Returns must be in their original packaging and in resalable condition.
We cannot accept returns via Royal Mail as they are not authorised to carry aerosols, please use an approved carrier.
If returning between 7 and 28 days, we will issue a credit note instead of a refund, less P&P.
Reporting issues
Non-receipt, shortages, or damage must be reported within 2 working days of delivery by email to info@onestopaerosols.co.uk. Please include your order number and clear photos where applicable.
Custom-mixed paint colours
All coloured paints are bespoke, mixed to your specification, and are non-cancellable once production starts. These items are exempt from change-of-mind returns.
If you contact us within 2 hours of placing the order and production has not begun, we can issue a credit note.
We can only accept returns of custom-mixed paints if the product is faulty. In such cases, please email us within the stated timeframes so we can arrange inspection and, where appropriate, a replacement or refund.
- Availability: All colours are generally available, if an item is unavailable when we prepare your order, we will contact you promptly to agree the next step, for example a suitable alternative, a backorder, or a refund.
- Storage: Store aerosols in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature between 18°C and 21°C. Avoid extreme heat, keep away from direct sunlight and sources of ignition. Do not expose cans to freezing temperatures, very cold conditions can cause malfunction or, in rare cases, bursting. Always keep containers upright, tightly closed when not in use, and out of reach of children.
Orders and pricing
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices are shown in GBP and include or exclude VAT as stated at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to refuse or cancel any order prior to dispatch with a full refund.
Payment
Payment is taken through our approved payment providers. Your order will not ship until payment has cleared. You must use a payment method that you are authorised to use.
Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk passes to you on delivery. Inspect goods on arrival and tell us about any issues within a reasonable time.
Returns and refunds
Your statutory rights are not affected. Made to order or custom tinted items may be excluded from change of mind returns. Please see our returns information for procedures and timelines.
Warranty and liability
Products should be used in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and data sheets. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and limit our liability for losses that are not foreseeable. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any rights that cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without prior written consent. You may use the site for personal, non commercial purposes only.
Privacy and cookies
We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have non exclusive jurisdiction.
