British Standard 381C Pale Cream 352 sits within our British Standard 381C Paint Colour Chart, mixed fresh to order using Lechler binders and colourants. The system is designed so that aerosols and tins can be ordered again later for touch ins, snagging and follow on visits without the colour drifting.
Used with the correct primer this system can suit many common substrates, including metal, correctly prepared plastics and timber. The aim is a smooth, dependable finish with good adhesion and stable colour under normal service conditions.

1K aerosol: touch-dry typically 15–30 minutes, handle-dry 30–60 minutes.
2K aerosol: touch-dry about 40 minutes, full cure 24–48 hours depending on temperature and humidity. Cooler or damp conditions will extend times.
Tip: Light coats and good ventilation speed things up. Avoid heavy passes that trap solvent.
As a guide, up to 2 m² per coat. Coverage varies with colour, surface profile, preparation and technique.
Tip: Keep the nozzle clean and maintain an even distance to maximise coverage.

Yes, we strongly recommend a suitable primer for most jobs. Match the primer to the substrate for best adhesion and durability, for example glass primers, fibreglass primers and plastic primers.
Tip: Degrease and abrade to a uniform key before priming.
Store upright in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight. Avoid freezing. For best results, use within 12–24 months of purchase.
