Federal Standard 595 A-33481 - Mustard Mat Aerosol Spray Paint is a custom-mixed aerosol spray paint colour from our Federal Standard Aerosol Spray Paint chart. It’s supplied in 400 ml 1K or 2K aerosols (2K has a built-in hardener), litre tins, plus touch-up pots/pens. Choose finishes from Matt 0% to Full Gloss 90%.
Yes—prepare properly and use the right primer for each substrate:
2K aerosols include a hardener for superior chemical and abrasion resistance—ideal for high-traffic or demanding environments. 1K is convenient and great for lighter-duty tasks or quick repairs.
Note: 2K aerosols are supplied as Acrylic Enamel only.
As a guide, a 400 ml aerosol covers up to ~2 m² per coat on a smooth, primed surface. Most projects look best with 2–4 coats, depending on colour, surface profile and what you’re covering.
Temperature/humidity affect results—always test first.
Yes—prep correctly and consider add-ons for longevity:
Spray in a mild, dry environment—ideally 10–25 °C with low humidity and steady airflow. Avoid very cold, hot or damp conditions which can slow drying or cause defects.
For safety and handling, see our data sheets: 1K · 2K/2K Air-Dry.
Please note – Our aerosol cans, litre tins and touch up and repair pots/pens are custom mixed and should be tested before application. We do not take responsibility for any colour difference once you have applied the paint to your surfaces. If the colour is not accurate, please contact us to arrange a return.
