How much will I need (coverage & coats)?

As a guide, a 400 ml aerosol covers up to approximately 2 m² per coat on a smooth, primed surface. Most projects need 2–4 coats depending on colour, surface profile and what is being covered.

How long does it take to dry and fully cure?

For 1K, recoat after about 10–15 minutes; typical cure is around 30 minutes depending on conditions. For 2K, recoat after about 20–30 minutes; touch-dry is roughly 40 minutes and full cure is usually 24–48 hours.

Can I use it outdoors and will the colour fade?

Yes, provided correct preparation and priming. Add UV Protection to help maintain colour on sun-exposed surfaces and consider a High-Resistance package for coastal or high-wear areas.

Pantone 198 sits within the Pantone C Paint colour chart. Every batch is custom mixed using premium Lechler binders and colourants for a consistent, long-lasting finish.

You can order this colour as 400 ml aerosols (1K or 2K with built-in hardener), litre tins, and touch-up pots or pens.

Choose a gloss level from matt (0%) through to full gloss (90%), with satin and semi-gloss options in between.
